Note: Students in International Direct who meet the qualifying English-language test scores with the TOEFL or IELTS do not need to take the English placement exams upon arrival to campus. Students who meet the qualifying with the iTEP will verify their English proficiency with an exam upon arrival. For more information see English Requirements.
Note: Upon completion of International Direct, several professional schools, such as the School of Engineering and School of Business require an additional application process to transfer into the degree programs.

Depending on your choice of major, you will follow an elective curriculum in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences based on one of the following three areas of study:
- Humanities and Social Sciences
- Science, Technology, Engineering,* and Mathematics (STEM) and Information Sciences
- Business,* Finance,* and Economics
*Programs in the School of Engineering and School of Business require application to the programs upon completion of International Direct.
