KU Undergraduate Dining

As a KU Undergraduate Accelerator student, you must have a dining plan, unless you have selected Tier 0 housing. This makes it easier for you to find and enjoy delicious food on campus.

There are two dining plans to choose from. Here is how it works: when you eat at Mrs. E's or South Dining Commons, your plan is billed $5.50 for breakfast and $8.25 for lunch or dinner, no matter how many items you choose to eat.

  • All-you-care-to-eat meals at Residential Dining Centers
  • 15% discount on each item when buying food or drinks at 20+ campus dining locations
  • Declining balance with an option to add more dollars as needed
  • Unused fall semester dollars roll over to spring semester

Dining services includes vegetarian, vegan, or halal meal options, and will work with you to make sure that your dietary needs are satisfied.

Tier 1: Gold

Recommended for students who want to pay more toward dining at the beginning of your program. You can add more money later if needed.

  • 15% discounted for each item at retail dining locations
  • 19 average number of weekly meals

Optional plan for apartment residents who may eat at the residential dining centers occasionally but want the accessibility and ease of a dining plan.

  • Breakfast $5.50 and Lunch/Dinner $8.25 at All-you-can-eat residential dining locations
