Don’t meet these requirements? The Academic Accelerator Program 2 or the Academic Accelerator Program 3 might be a better fit for you.

*Note: Students in IAP who meet the qualifying English scores with the TOEFL or IELTS do not need to take the English placement exams upon arrival to campus. Students who meet the qualifying with the Pearson Versant will verify their English proficiency with an exam upon arrival. For more information see Undergraduate Entry Requirements.

Applications with scores below the published minimums are not automatically denied and will still receive consideration from the college.

**Note: Upon completion of the IAP, Several professional schools, such as the School of Engineering and School of Business require an additional application process for transfer into degree programs within their schools.

Depending on your choice of major, you will follow an elective curriculum in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences based on one of the following three areas of study:

  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Science, Technology, Engineering* and Mathematics (STEM) and Information Sciences
  • Business*, Finance* and Economics

*Programs in the School of Engineering and School of Business require application to the programs upon completion of the IAP.

Academic Accelerator Program 2 (AAP2)

A two-semester program designed for students who are ready to succeed in English-speaking classrooms but who want the benefit of English language and student support to help them thrive.

Academic Accelerator Program 3 (AAP3)

A three-semester program for students seeking an immersive English-learning experience.
